How can we improve Yahoo?

I really really really want to get rid of these notifications. Just want to be able to check my email. How do I block them

I am beyond sickened by getting unwanted and unnecessary information about things like arrogant overpaid violent football players and others who are lousy role models and lousy human beings. I do not want to hear about how many millions of dollars they’re making. Please help me get rid of these notifications.

    The Notifications are overwhelming my Smartphone & Tablet! I am going to send to Spam just to avoid 80% of these notifications. I do not consider Celebrities as News or Sports! I do not consider anyone’s opinion as News; just the FACTS please!

    cant remove anything from the home page i just wanted to check my mail not get all the notifications about stupid stuff

    I was just playing around with the app and it would be really cool if we could customize the background like we can on desktop email.

    Also, for notifications there should be an option to only receive notifications if you received an email.
