User control of ad variables;e.g. flashing ads, workspace area
The 'ad' space uses more screen that is necessary. Allow the user to dictate 'ad space' requirements. of better yet, a widget button thats
allows acknowledgement , click then removes ad to increase work space. Flashing ads are very distracting- again, a widget or button to control or quiet down visual noise. I fully understand that ads pay for service. However, distracting ads drive away users.

Stop showing unwanted, distracting, annoying videos on your mail page, especially since they're biased propaganda masquerading as "breaking news!!" it would be good practice to take Yahoo users' opinions into consideration before instituting changes. BTW: I imagine monopolies think they can do as they please but eventually they'll all realize that the customer's always right!!

It's clearly placed there purposely so people would click on it by mistake taking it for the first email on top.

I returned to check my inbox, and saw a video playing in the empty space! I have limited data and will close Yahoo! Mail when I'm not using it. I'm sure that's not what Yahoo! wants, but that's what they get when they cost me data for nothing.

I was looking at your keep up with latest videos. I give up. It is faster to walk to the corner store and buy a newspaper not to mention less frustrating.
There are many videos which is great but try to to select and get through them. Here is what I mean.
Watch a video. Scan ahead in the preview and select, video starts, oops wrong one. 20 seconds or so of a commercial. double click on the right one. 20 seconds or so of commercial. view video, scan ahead click on next, 20 second or so commercial, try another instead, 20 second or so commercial, jump 3 videos ahead, 20 second or so commercial.
Do you get my point. News should be true reporting of facts, not equal the time that is taken by commercials and frustrating the customer.
Watch the videos? Not me, I am done? Bonus, i do not see commercials either. -

Like a little box to record "no video " or please "no video here"

When I have an empty mail folder in view, you play short news videos... Who the **** wants to "READ" a video, that's not how video is used... Video has moving pictures and SOUND...

Turn off the annoying videos in the spam folder when there are no messages in the spam folder.
If I want to watch videos on the news, entertainment, or sports, I know where to find them.
I swear, you are making it easier for me to relegate my Yahoo email address to a junk catcher address. I already have the most important emails going to another account due to previous instabilities in the platform.

Tool bar doesn't show and is impossible to find in Yahoo mail and the help videos are infuriating and worthless. Add a traditional searchable help menu.

Stop putting videos in my Inbox.. It's an email program not a video player. It never ceases to amaze me how idiots come up with these ideas thinking the use actually wants them there. Get rid of them or I'll get rid of Yahoo.

This (or these lines) are deliberately MISLEADING
"Microsoft

Get the freedom to build with your favorite open source tools, plus 25+ always-free products."It is the first line in my email list of messages and PRETENDS to be a first email.
I would love to consign it and Yahoo email to existential **** with a simple click.By the way, When will you block the spam emails from ever being posted after thrice being deleted or corralled.
