All the gray bar areas seem to be for on the sides are advertisements which, incidentally get taken care of by adblock! Especially with updates from the Senator e-mails, part of what is written gets cut off by those darn grey bars ont he sides and I have to shrink the letters so far down they're too small to read!!!
THERE'S NO NEED FOR THOSE GRAY SIDE BARS EXCEPT TO STICK IN ADS ON PEOPLE! GET RID OF THEM OR I'M GOING TO CHANGE E-MAIL PROVIDERS!!!

It was fine before, you didn't need to make it any bigger. While you're at it make ALL ads have a feedback icon in the upper right hand corner, especially your political favorites you want to force down our throats.

Stop abusing users with ads that flash. It makes it almost impossible to use yahoo mail at all. Not to your benefit.

Basic Mail is blinding, hard to see to hunt for settings which is few, the "improved " mail sucks and is a joke, Why should I pay not to see ads when I just ignore them. Come on Yahoo, Hire a 10 yr old to design a decent mail program
