How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

'not happy with the new yahoo mail. features disappear and not user friendly at all. I might have to change to another mail service.' has been merged into this idea

This new design is broken and does not show me all of my mail.

For the past week, every time I clicked to use the old version, new mails would show up. Now that button is gone, and every time I open Yahoo it says there are new mails, but there is no new mail in my boxes. Thank you so much for breaking things so that I can not access my mail. It's wonderful, considering most of my tax documents are electronic and associated with this email.

    WOW same for my yahoo mail side account.
    Completely Empty all mails gone and i cant even receive some new mails.
    How can you **** something up this hard. So that happens when China takes over. ***** yahoo.

    You don't need my mobile phone number, and I don't want to enter a code sent to me in order to log in.

    I have found that there are several emails missing from my account.Told my friend to check her account too and she has found the same. Very worried now that I cannot trust my yahoo account anymore!!!

    ALL PAST MAIL DATA IS MISSING
    I have been using my Yahoo account since 2002. I have signed in today my account (bb************@yahoo.co.in) after a long time with a new password. I do not see any of my past emails in any of the folders. Can you help?

    Obviously, the new email system was designed by someone who currently does not use email, does not know why a person would use email, does not want people to use email, has never used or seen another email system, and is from another planet. Verizon Yahoo is doing everything possible to lose as many old Yahoo customers as they can. The old Yahoo was bad, but this is dysfunctional.

    I logged in after a long time and to my surprise find the new look of yahoo and could not find any of my previous mails. My whole data of emails of last 15 years has gone. Please let me know how to retrieve my earlier mails and change the look to the older version.
