Don't force phone recovery
I have already (reluctantly) given you an e-mail address as a form of recovery. Please stop trying to persuade me to use my phone number as well. I have used yahoo for almost 20 years and this is enough to make me migrate to another e-mail address provider entirely. Please stop, you already have an alternative e-mail address and I can give you more but I do not want to link my phone number with my e-mail address.

You refuse to understand that not everyone owns a mobile phone. I still just have a land line that is useless for any internet purposes. I do not intend to EVER own a mobile phone. Will you please stop asking for security update of mobile phone number.

You keep asking to verify my phone number, but the one showing is not correct, so how do I verify when I can't get your stupid "access code". Having my phone number should not be a requirement to get emails.

It will be a cold and frosty day in **** before I EVER give Yahoo my phone number. So stop asking. I mean, seriously.......STOP ASKING. You will never get it. Ever. Not for recovery. Not for any reason.

It really frustrates me that this email app requires my phone number to "verify" my access. I'm really hating all the data greediness by companies these days and it needs to stop.
