    As a working professional who has used emails since its inception, this is the worst format for an email box I have ever used! The new format has zero intuitiveness, and it is the most inefficient of any inbox I could possibly conceive. Want to go back, oops, can't do that. Want to see all your emails on one page, oh again, can't do that. Want one click movement, yeah, no you are going to be clicking a minimum of three times for any step. At this point I question if the engineer for this update uses email or if they secretly hate Yahoo and they are trying to drive users from their email service. If it stays this inefficient, I will move away from Yahoo. I only thought I hated gmails lack of intuitiveness until this change. I will set up my own personal Outlook rather than stay with this hot mess.

    Having designed and developed software for over 30 years, I really question the skill levels of those that made these "improvements" and those that gave the "go-ahead". I've faced end users that would resist change at any level and usually was able to address their concerns by highlighting the improvements they would see under the new release....Before implementing changes, we always insured that there was no loss of functionality going from release to release. That certainly wasn't even considered with this effort. A few that ticks right off the bat....A limited load of your inbox....The loss of mass selection via the cntl or fnct key with a "From - to" option. A selection counter is now gone.....The scrolling that now hides the top banner of the application.
    I'd give this release an F at best..

    Your new look does not allow to have all the folders available to easily drag and drop. You have also ruined the old template as it now takes extra keystrokes to move items as the drag and drop no longer works here since you took out the scroll bar for the folders. This is terrible new setup. The colors are also harsh , harder to read. Nothing about the NEW is better.

    My idea is to revert back to the previous version of Basic Email. I know I'm ready to walk. This is awful. The UI is terrible with all the extra BUTTON presses.

    What the **** is wrong with you people? Why make changes to something that works well, and make it so that it works far less well? And uglier, too!

    UNDO YOUR STUPID CHANGES. I don't need a drop down menu to choose an action and then hit "apply". Why would you make that more inconvenient? Why not just leave the buttons there like they were? I archive most of my emails and that was easy before, but now it's a pain in that ***. THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT "MORE CONVIENT" in the same way that having the flu is more convenient than having cancer.

    Sending emails is even more difficult. The sidebar to highlight or change font size is gone. I can no longer copy and paste directly to an email as before.

    This new format is not user friendly and needs much work for all the reasons others' have mentioned.

    Ok, I know corporations need to change with the times, but it's just not necessary to automatically change the format for everyone.
    One of the things people like about Yahoo mail is it's simplicity and basic layout. This new format is literally Gmail...
    On top of that, you guys took out basically all the settings or personalization options for the basic email format...the only reasonable explanation for this is forced obsolescence, right out of apple's playbook. I mean I can't even click on the blue dot anymore to mark as unread..
    C'mon guys, I thought you were better than that.

    The new yahoo email is awful. Switch back to classic email. Give us users the option to change back to classic email. I'm going to go to gmail if not given the option to get back to yahoo classic email. I will be done with yahoo if not given the option. Yahoo don't mess around with peoples likes unless you give them options to choose for themselves. Big mistake!!
