How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

I am receiving lot of spam mails, it may go up to 500 per week. Its very difficult to search important mails. kindly disable all bulk mails.

My inbox is receiving lot of bulk mail. its a cumbersome task to keep deleting 100 mails per day. Kindly disable bulk mails in inbox.
Whereas, this problem is not with other domain mail ID...only Yahoo had problem.

    Ever since the yahoo email "upgrade" I have been getting SO MUCH SPAM. The spam filter isn't working so my inbox is bombarded with spam. And it is very obviously spam with non alpha numeric special characters before the sender's address. Usually there are 3 of the same spams in a row then another (different) 3 spams in a row, over and over. And the spam fiolder also has way more spam in it than it used to. The so called ugrade is actually a terrible downgrade.The change has caused the loss of other functions that made email better than it is now, but the spam issue is by far the worst of the change and needs to be fixed!

    Put things back how I had them. Why are you doing anything but fixing spam. Thanks for making everything worse

    I am really frustrated with the amount of spam that is showing up in my Inbox! I have marked multiple different emails multiple times and every day they are back.

    try stopping spoof emails. I get hundreds in spam and inbox. Guess how many i get in my gmail? Zero, yes a big fat zero. Doin't know why yahoo mail exists

    Why is it that all of a sudden over the past week I have been getting A LOT more spam. Did yahoo do something to it's filters to mess this up. Yes, I would get one spam email here and there but for the past week I have been getting 30-40 per day. Please look into what YOU did with YOUR filters and find out what you messed up.

    too much spam i going on i dont know why instead of going to junk or trash its keep comig to inbox super annoying please help i try all the fiters and email blocking ntg is working out ....help please thanks

    I no longer cope with the bulk of junk mail coming to my inbox. I tried blocking but no use. I also marked each as a junk mail but still come to my main inbox. Although I enjoyed Yahoo for years, I feel I have to give up that mail address because of that. I hope there is a solution. Yahoo mail now is like an open and uncontrolled gate for anything.

    There is an enormous amount of spam coming from addresses of the form "something@offerxx-zoqloq.com", e.g. 27817583@offer79-zoqloq.com. The current matching method doesn't allow matching this type of address.

    It should be possible to match sending addresses using a weak wildcard such as "offer*-zoqloq.com" to block this kind of thing.

    I need to be able to enter subdomains as a wildcard into my blocked emails list (like @'*'happyworks.org) because people are using subdomains now to spam us. They buy 1 domain for like $9 and make 500 random character subdomains off of it (like @g89f2.happyworks.org) then make an email account in each of the subdomains and send the same spam message to their list of email addresses and boom you get 500 spam messages of the same thing in a day. Or possibly they have 1 website and the spam program just tacks on a subdomain... either way it is getting annoying fast. Yet Yahoo wont allow me to use that type of wildcard in my list so I have to manually block each specific address and I can only block so many addresses according to yahoo's random logic.
