You made searching emails WORSE! and it was already sketchy. You can't search on a keyword in the email.
Put BACK searching for a keyword in the email. It sucked but it sometimes worked at least. Now it's gone completely.

This update is not better. I come to my email and it been updated to the new advanced version. I rejected the advanced version the last time it was pushed to me. We should be asked if we want the new updated version. Go into my settings to revert back to the basic mail some of the functions we previously had are now missing. As many other users have said now I can no longer search from 1:00 sender to go through all their emails. That's a big problem when you have a lot of emails to go through or just from that sender if you're looking for something specific.

This is absolutely PREHISTORIC yahoo from like 20 ago!!! My God, bring back the older version before this last update. All of my emails are not loading. Folders not fully loading!! I have to go to NEXT PAGE, and lost ability to scroll through??? Search?? What search?? It's not even working properly on my MacBook pro!!! It just won't find emails. I have to look on my phone for them??? You removed the BACK button???? I have to exit out of every email??? Have to go all the way up or down to delete?? I mean come on now!!! What idiot came up with these prehistoric changes??? I have been with yahoo for decades, and at this point, I will start searching for another company....... as I used to be able to revert to the older versions, and now you have taken that away too?? HORRIBLE, DO NOT RECOMMEND, AND AM ABOUT TO DROP

After 2/7/25 update, only 25 messages show on the screen leaving a largely blank page. Also we could click on the blue dot to mark a message read; not anymore.

I can't use any functions when I am back on basic yahoo mail on my desktop. Nothing works-- I can't click on the blue circle to mark an email as read. I can't move things from spam to inbox. It is super slow-- but my phone app works fine. Please fix this and stop making updates to the basic mail-- I have had yahoo mail since 1998 and every update in recent years has been a disaster. Thank you.

We used to be able to click next to an email address to search for all the emails from that address. We used to be able to click next to a subject line to get all the emails with that subject line. I used to be able to drag an attachment to an email. The print is too small. I need white letters on a dark background. You took away some of the best stuff! I want the old basic back!

Agreed. Gathering my comments of lacking functionality of New Yahoo Email and Basic vs. the Classic view that needs to come back here.

This update is awful, but what is worse is the fact they are deleting the negative feedback people are leaving about this **** update. I made a post yesterday and today the post I made and comments i've made on others are gone now. We all know it is a bad update and now today the #1 ranked post is this. I hope they see how dumb they have been and give us an option to atleast go back to the real old UI instead of the now "basic" look they rolled out and looks awful.

You have made it impossible to search for emails in certain folders and to move between emails once an email is open. This new format is absolutely horrible!! Whoever designed it needs to go, my 12 year old could have designed it better.

There used to be a search feature next to the 'star' where you could click and bring up all emails from that sender. WHY did you get rid of one of the best features. Now sorting through and deleting is horrible.
