How can we improve New Yahoo Mail Basic?

what happened to color scheme options??

I managed to get to a page that let me choose my preferred color scheme again but when I applied these changes it didn't take (to my inbox). Now I can't even access those options anymore??

    Where are the options for choosing your own color theme? Also where are the options for choosing your layout - I hate this double spacing. Also cannot drag emails into specific folders. This new version is horrible.

    The basic email format yesterday worked. This train wreck doesn't. This change looses you customers. Not gain them. Change it back, or give us back the options to change our email background from being blinding white or you'll be loosing millions of customers to find an email site that actually does.

    Why are you making it less readable? Less usable? Less functional? Yahoo Mail used to be the best service available and now it is junk.

    Tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Bright !!!!!!!!!!!! bring the colors back so can make this viewable. NOT user Friendly. HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was fine before. AWFUL now.

    I agree that it is far too bright. I can hardly read my emails now. I may just close my accounts and go to hotmail again.

    I don't like it, too bright but yet the "dark" scheme you have is way too dark. I liked the themes you had before this. Why did you have to change a good thing? Before we could at least switch back!

    Exactly! This new color scheme is actually too bright for me. I don't want to adjust my settings on my computer because other sites are fine, but this one is hurting my eyes. I want to adjust my color scheme to something I prefer. This new one is awful.

    I desperately need to change the color scheme too! Kelly, do you remember how you accessed it the first time? I would love to try. Basic still looks better than their Standard page, but I won't be able to use it if there's only this blue-and-white color scheme. :(
