I much prefer the old yahoo mail, where I could just click on the dot to mark it read, instead of all the new extra steps.

Mail is clunky and hard to use without the blue dots working as a method to mark as read or. unread. Please bring them back to basic!

Why is the blue dot even there still, if it doesn't work? It was very handy, and stupid to remove it. The youngsters are trying to force the olds into only apps. Boo.

You've made everything a double click, harder, by requiring
#1 choose action
#2 click on apply or go ! -

The blue dot to the left of the email sender in the mail list used to mark the email as read. The dot is still there in Basic Mail but doesn't do anything when I click on it.
