Under the new version, there are extra steps involved when navigating the email messages. The search box is better than having to scroll the page looking for the folder. This is just one example. A drop down box doesn't make navigating easier. In fact, it creates an extra step, and the apply button also adds an extra step.
As for the calendar, not having the option to set a default view (monthly rather than weekly) is requiring an extra step. Is there was a way to set how the calendar defaults to always opening to the desired format? (Monthly) My calendar always opens to weekly.(not desirable) -

I don't like the new look at all. Even the Old Basic look has changed to purple. Why "fix" what was not broken? I'm so frustrated and avoid checking my mail now because of this.

I preferred how I had my Yahoo Mail set up before. I could have dark mode. I could have different tabs for different search parameters. Now the only tabs I can have are for Mail, Calendar, Notes, etc. I just need the ability to have tabs for whatever I'm searching for, like I used to.

This is the worst update to Yahoo Mail ever. I have tried to contact you for my issues and so far I have never gotten a response. Where is the "Theme adn the Appearance" options ? I have trying to figure it out and I can't find it. I have had issues reverting back to my Yahoo Mail Plus subscription but I could not make it stay on the green theme which I like. I liked Basic email. I did NOT have to refresh every time new email came in; it automatically populated. Now I have to refresh EVERY TIME a new message comes in, and if my computer sits idle too long I have to refresh the entire page again. TOTALLY WASTEFUL !!!!!

I want the original email from a few days ago FULLY restored. The roll back misses a lot of the basic. Stop changing things, you've made it much worse.

Can I have the old Yahoo Mail Basic? I do not like the new changes. I cannot highlight, bold, or underline my messages. The process of attaching files is more cumbersome than the previous one, where I could drag and drop my attachments.
I do not understand all the changes. Were they necessary? Did anyone request them? Gmail and other platforms have remained same and consistent. Why do we have to unlearn and relearn yahoo mail all the time? -

ran out of characters I guess ...that I was using before I tried the new. Please change it back to what I was using
before or give me a location where I can make the change myself which is what I would prefer.

WHY THE **** ARE YOU CONSTANTLY SCREWING WITH YAHOO MAIL? EVERY CHANGE YOU'VE MADE JUST MAKES IT HARDER TO USE AND PUSHES ME TOWARDS ALTERNATIVE PROVIDERS. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE DISASTER THAT IS NEW YAHOO MAIL...

Your new email system is confusing for me, I just tried to send some stuff to Spam and I didn't see the setting for it up in actions so I sent them to trash and it sent everything on my inbox to trash that's not what I wanted that's not what I was trying to do. I know how to work your older platform perfectly in fac, so send me back to where I was before your changes, and give me all my mail that was on my page before I deleted it today please?

where did themes go in the "new" old yahoo mail. Love that I can go back and easily see read/unread messages but miss being able to darken my background

Since launching the new trial version of Yahoo (which is big failure due to poor interface and functionality), the "Settings" are not working as used to be even with reversing to the original old Yahoo. We can not change the screen layout and color and the mails have to show in shorter pages with a need to refresh everytime to see new emails. Please take us back to how Yahoo was before the launch of this new version junk! Thanks

SINCE YOU CHANGED THE EMAIL FORMAT OCTOBER 2025, IT IS NOTHING BUT A BIG PAIN. THE NEW VERSION IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE AND AWFUL. YOU UNFORTUNATELY CHANGED THE 'OLD' VERSION AND NOW YOU HAVE NOT ONLY REMOVED FEATURES, (SUCH AS AN ABILITY TO CHANGE THE SIZE OF TYPE, WHICH IS HELPFUL TO MOST WITH EYE ISSUES), BUT IT TAKES RIDICULOUSLY MORE CLICKS TO PERFORM THE SAME FUNCTIONS THAT WERE MUCH EASIER WITH THE ORIGINAL BASIC YAHOO EMAIL!
