I do not like the visual appearance of the layout. I prefer the old basic version. AND, I do not like the feature of a note appearing at the top advising that I have a new email; I want my old auto-populating version back.

I really hate the new email format and I especially now hate getting ad suggestions in my email. It's bad enough on Facebook and I don't want it in my email feed. Please STOP!!!

You offer people to go back to the old mail system, but yet you got rid of so much from the old system that made it great. Your new system is horrible and I won't use that again. If you don't get the old system back like it was, after 20+ years, I will be looking for a new email system. As I figure many people will be with this stunt of offering the old system and then changing it drastically. Just put it back the way it was. Stop trying to be woke and like gmail.

Why do you guys want to make unnecessary changes to this mail system. The new Yahoo mail was horrendous and when I got the option to go back to the old , I was ecstatic. For 1/2 a day I was happy. Then it became a different version!!! May I just have the old old version, Please.

You automatically selected New new Yahoo mail. I didn't like it: hard to find things plus the paging (showing only a set number of emails in the list) is not good. I didn't like that gmail did that and always use yahoo mail for that reason.
So there was an option to "go back to old yahoo mail". I did that. That option gave me a "New old yahoo mail", which is really "New Mail Basic". How come you are calling it the "Old Yahoo Mail"? It has pages. One cannot multiple select emails. I dislike it. Alot. I would like to go back to the old yahoo mail, not some hamstrung middle version.
Gmail at least lets you choose up to a hundred emails a page.

I tried the New Yahoo mail- and like hundreds of thousands, did not like it.
I opted to stay with the original, not realizing that you created a new "basic" aka skeletal, that robs me of basic actions: moving items to separate folders, copying in and out, but keeping everythung on the homepage. In short,
in order to force us to use your new unpopular format, you deprive us of basic functions. Own up that the new version is a flop, allow functions to return to normal, and you'll have happy customers- those that prefer the old, and those who embrace the new. No one likes being coerced, and that's what you're doing. We're not stupid. -

This so-called upgrade is HORRIBLE. Yahoo has stripped away everything that made its platform functional, familiar, and user-friendly. What’s left is a sterile, stark interface that looks like it was designed by someone who’s never used email in their life. The layout is visually jarring, the font choices are ******* the eyes, and the overall experience feels like navigating a ghost town of usability.
Buttons are scattered in unintuitive places, making even basic tasks feel like a scavenger hunt. Settings? Don’t expect control—there are fewer options than ever, and the ones that remain are buried under layers of confusion. It’s as if Yahoo decided that user autonomy was a problem to be solved by removing it entirely.
And the real kicker? I’ve lost most of my email messages. Not archived. Not hidden. Gone. This happened well before any announced cutoff date for paid upgrades or storage reductions. It’s not just inconvenient—it’s unacceptable. Years of correspondence, receipts, and personal history vanished without warning.
This isn’t modernization. It’s mutilation. Yahoo has taken a once-reliable platform and gutted it, leaving longtime users to pick through the wreckage. If this is the future of Yahoo, count me out.

I've been a Yahoo Basic user for a quarter of a century. Your new changes are unappealing, and reverting to the old "basic" format is a bait-and-switch, as you have deleted functions such as formatting text and keeping multiple tabs open. Really, you all should be ashamed.

Once again you took something that wasn't broken and "FIXED" it by doing nothing but screwing it up. On top of that you made it so we can't go back to the original version. Sometimes you need to just LEAVE THINGS ALONE. I'm looking now to transfer all my mail to G-Mail just to get rid of Yahoo.

I would like to express my disappointment with the new version of Yahoo Mail.
The previous version allowed for much more practical organization. We used to save emails as drafts to classify them, because they remained visible in other folders. Now, drafts are only accessible from the "Drafts" folder, which makes our workflow much more difficult.
Also, in the old version, we could view attachments without having to download them. The new system requires downloading files just to see them, which slows everything down and makes the experience frustrating.
These changes are significantly affecting how we use Yahoo Mail — to the point that we are seriously considering switching to Google, as it offers more flexibility and better usability.
We sincerely hope you will take this feedback into account and consider bringing back some of the key features from the previous version.
Thank you for your understanding.

I don't like the new Yahoo. Please bring back the old version. We used to organize emails by saving them as drafts, but now drafts are only visible in the 'Drafts' folder and not in other folders. It's really unfortunate.

I got used to your last change, which had good features, such as identifying icons for where the email was coming from; and being able to ask for a specific folder to move something to, rather than having to go down the whole list every time. It was weird when it first happened, but it did improve things.
I don't know who your "improvements" were for this time, but they certainly were not for me. Now I can't figure out how to go back to the old email, though it apparently wouldn't do any good when you tell me it's going to become permanent eventually, anyway. -

the old version, the send button was always accessible without scrolling to find it. Also the old version automatically opened the next email when you deleted the email you were reading, instead of going back to inbox list where you have to start over and find where you were, both options that were taken away save time when trying to answer 100+ emails, I hate the new version
