STOP UPGRADING SOMETHING THAT WORKS! I DO NOT NEED MY EMAIL UPGRADED SINCE IT WORKS FINE THE WAY IT IS! LEAVE IT ALONE, TAKE ME OFF THE UPGRADE LIST, FORGET ME OR DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO LEAVE MY EMAIL THE WAY IT IS! ******* LEAVE IT ALONE!

I pay for my Yahoo Mail account. I hate the new, updated version. How do I change it back. I'm not paying for a product that's terribly confusing and unsatisfactory.

I really do not like the new Yahoo Mail. So much so that I'm forced to stomach the reduced 'basic' version that used to be great!
Anyway, one thing that would make me switch --
Let each email, in the inbox view, be way more compact (like Gmail!!) so a single line of text is there - no white space, no icons, no images, no stupid different fonts - none of that useless garbage.
Why?
This way I can see way more mail in my inbox at initial load without having to either click a button at the top right corner of the screen to get top the next Yahoo-Mail-decided limit, or scroll (I'd prefer that, where it simply loads more mail as I scroll down).
This brings me to my next suggestion. Let the user decide in a Settings/Config just how many emails they want to see on initial load of the inbox. Some arbitrary amount may be fine for some, but I'd prefer to load the amount I want to load, not some number some product person decided 'this is good enough' that is shoved down the user's throat. I'd like 100 emails there, not 20, 25, or 50.

search capability (search glass icon) by the sender name to be able to filter the emails. Easy way to filter the emails and auto store rule where the email would always get stored in the folder without going through confusing rule interface.

What happened to the keyboard short cut for delete? And what happened to the setting for choosing the behavior after deleting an email? I used to be able to have it go automatically to the next or previous email? And I thought I used to be able to select the page number of the inbox and jump straight there? Please restore the features as before!

The font is too small...you will lose older users...too **** small.
The layout isn't intuitive...you have to search for things...and no more unread button to eliminate stuff we don't need or want
The attachment process is awkward
Only having 25 emails show at one time-I need to see all in there...it also allows you to miss one if it comes in and isn't shown in the 25
In sum, it isn't good

It is so easy to work with Yahoo Mail when I can see all the folders in the left column, then the list of emails and then the subject lines in the 3rd column. The so-called "new mail" is awful, unintuitive, cumbersome and just downright maddening when it requires guessing which link covers the underlying link(s) that I wanted in the first place and have / had in the Basic mail version.
