Aside of the fact that I can get no help with retrieving all of my deleted emails, a simple procedure that any major (and a lot of minor companies can and have responded to now we are in the post COVID period.
it is essential that at least new emails should be coming in. The accounts exist, but it seems, for me and many others, that now even new mails to these old accounts are being properly received. That can then kill old repositories of photos, videos and all.
It is pretty obvious that the deletions were not sanctioned at a high enough level. But if the accounts cannot even receive, then it needs to be acted on from as high a level as it takes. Verizon may not be everyone's favorite company, but 10's or 100's of millions of folks worldwide depend on them and get the right kind of service.
Email storage is a critical item for Yahoo, and I get the feeling that Yahoo are trying to sweep the issue under the carpet, up their profits by charging a lot for a service that others provide free and who are a lot more communicative and reliable. The danger is that Yahoo's management might just might succeed.
Write to , and call your representatives at local government, state, and national levels. I honestly believe that higher levels of management would drop on this mess with Thor's hammer.
Don't let these little Yahoo managers get away with it. Write a simple, rational complaint about Yahoo's couldn't care less attitude, and send it to both Government and Verizon at as high a level as you can find.
With a big enough volume of complaint, the whole structure of Yahoo will either respond properly by offering options to fix it, or Yahoo will be wiped clean at highest and intermediate levels and fixers will move in. That is the outcome that it might actually need. When they fear for their own jobs
