This is an old old issue that has never been fixed.
The obvious place to look for what language a page should display is to look at the browser languages.
But Google and Yahoo don't do this. They look at where you are located now on the internet. it is easy to check, just get on a vpn and change countries so it looks like you are in France, for example. Clear your browser history, go to Google or Yahoo in France and it will give you the page in French. Really dumb, when your browser is set to German or English language.
Microsoft get it right mostly

Most folks will remember COVID, the long haul back from it. And Yahoo who deleted hundreds of millions of their emails. My PC died while we were in quarantine. It took me years to get and its OK now, 3 laptops just to make sure we don't get caught again. But we willl all remembers the assassinated emails that were a story of our life. And which company let us down. Really sad, even tragic.
