Ease of viewing email and excessive garbage space on page top
Please minimize the space utilized by the header information... there is nothing of value in the very large block of space used to say "search here!" our name and the little home icon. I mean really by having this at the top of the screen taking up almost all visible areas... on my laptop and leaving very little workspace... I know it used to work fine when I had a huge desktop monitor, but even it was irritating. If you could take the space down or amalgamate it into the bar with the equally useless space advertising the "news sports .... yahoo mail pro upgrade" then there would actually be some screen left with which to actually view and work with my emails... the whole reason that I am on Yahoo, to begin with! I do not go to and have never used the links listed ... ever!! I am here for the email of Yahoo! I love Yahoo email... and I have had many yahoo accounts over my life time of working on the internet. My current log-in I have had since I think, 1997. I have at least 4 others that are mildly active still that I have for either a group I was associated with in an executive position or businesses or family exchanges. I even have a yahoo account specifically for all those pesky sign-ins required for everything from ordering a meal to entering a contest or viewing a shopping site. But. as I have issues viewing my email bodies, and cannot seem to find a way anymore to open an email onto a separate page with out all the garage at the top... I find it so very hard to read or view any messages or write something that I can scan easily with out scrolling down every third line... and then to actually move around the site... I have to decrease the size to the point that I can not see a single thing on the page anyway... this makes it so that I have to be constantly changing the screen size from large to small and back again! Please think about this from a senior (your real target market as the younger people only know how to Twatter or send emoji messages. Please think about this process for the benefit of those who still actively use emails... I do not even look at social media... have literally quit Facebook, and never embraced the others... have never hash-tagged anything in my life! Nor do I send people updates on every change of my position on the planet or what I am eating or my relationship status. So I ask you to please... look closely at this issue and make some adjustments to the layout to allow the visual space to be used productively. Thank you.
