Improve delete interface to reduce accidental delete
I suggest adding both hover and mouse-down actions with visual feedback. Hover can make the image slightly larger and mouse down can change color for instance. My mouse was at least the width of the trashcan icon away from the actual icon and the message was deleted when I accidentally clicked. Instead, make the delete active only when actually clicking over the icon.
