Please! STOP! fixing things that are not broken. There are a gazillion other comments just like this. My eyes are old. I have cataracts. I cannot control the contrast on my inbox. It is either too dark or glaringly white. I had a nice, neutral color on my old theme that was easy to read. did not hurt my eyes. I was ignoring the update because I. Did. NOT. want to go to this look. Just leave things alone. Also, if you want to really annoy people, pretend to take feedback and then ignore it. Just saying.

Speaking as someone who spends a lot of time on the computer, light or white text on a darker background is VERY hard on the eyes. Please, give users the option to select the font color and the ability to set the intensity of the background.
