Keep changing my stimulus deposit date
I was just wondering if anyone else was having a problem with the get my money tool on the IRS website. First the said it would be deposited on 3-17-21. It wasn't and then they changed it to 3-24-21 and I still didn't get it today. I get my money direct deposit and am on SSI. I verified all my bank info was correct and they said it would be deposited when the IRS got it too them. It's frustrating when you can't talk to anyone from the IRS.

If you're experiencing changes in the deposit date for your stimulus payment, there are several potential reasons for this:
1. **Processing Times:**
Stimulus payments are typically processed by government agencies, and the exact timing can vary. Delays may occur due to high volumes, verification processes, or other administrative factors.2. **Bank Processing:**
The financial institution where you have your account might also play a role. Banks may have their own processing times, and these could affect when the funds appear in your account.3. **Information Accuracy:**
Ensure that the information provided for direct deposit is accurate. Any discrepancies in the details provided to the government can lead to delays or changes in deposit dates.4. **Eligibility and IRS Updates:**
Stimulus payments are subject to eligibility criteria, and changes in your circumstances or updates from the IRS could influence the deposit schedule.5. **Government Announcements:**
Sometimes, changes in deposit dates are announced by government agencies. Keep an eye on official announcements from the IRS or relevant authorities for any updates.6. **Bank Holidays:**
Bank holidays can affect deposit processing times. If the expected deposit date falls on a holiday, it might be rescheduled. If the changes in your stimulus deposit date persist or you're uncertain about the reasons, consider checking the official IRS website for updates or contact their support for clarification. Additionally, you may want to reach out to your bank to inquire about any specific details related to your account.
Understanding the specific circumstances and staying informed through official channels will help you get accurate information regarding your stimulus payment. If you have access to an online portal or have received any official communication, checking those sources can also provide insights into the status of your payment.

However many people have received direct deposit payments in their accounts earlier than the payment date, which would show as provisional or pending deposits. Based on the pattern of past batches stimulus payments are generally hitting most bank accounts on a Monday or Tuesday.
