Put the old view of contact information back on contact details

Why is it so hard to add contacts to a list? Even copy paste an email address won't work!

I agree with all these comments. I want to have my contacts show in a separate tab (not a sidebar on the email page) and to be able to read all of the information, especially the Notes! I kept extensive information about many contacts and now the format is unreadable. This thread has been going for well over a year. Is anyone at Yahoo listening???

I agree! Somehow some of my contacts have been deleted from my email groups and the information is all messed up. Deleted information has shown back up or pops up when I go to send email to some of the group members. It is a mess in general. I liked the way it was, much easier to use.

Yahoo is becoming a pain in the asset (you know what i mean). I got rid of Google for that reason now Yahoo is doing the same. I guess i will have to go back to 'old school' and buy myself a phone book. Why do people believe you must change things just because it is "X" number of years old. IF IT AIN'T BROKEN THEN DON'T FIX IT.

your new contacts are worse than HORRIBLE. I hope nobody got paid for this set up. It doesn't even make sense. Every day I think this will be the day I go to gmail!

I can't use this new contact system. It is impossible to handle/edit my existing contacts and to add new ones. Please give us a choice to return to the old system that showed all the information for each contact so that it could be edited or updated without a Phd in Yahoo.

And QUIT CHANGING THE INFORMATION in the contacts!
YOU (Yahoo) re-labeled the contact abuse@bankofamerica.com as Community Bank of Mississippi! -

The contact list is unusable. I wanted to add a contact and that was it! I could not even enter an e-mail address!!! Yahoo is useless. Fix it!

I am trying to add more contacts to a group list and it took forever to figure this out and will probably forget the next time I try. This is not easy at all and not user friendly.

Ditto the message from BL, I like to see how many contacts are in my group lists so that I can make sure I haven't left anyone out. I too would change my e-mail provider if Yahoo can't/won't go back to what worked very well.

we gotta move on from yahoo. They dont even want you to send emails anymore so everyone just text now. Just pay for the pro for nothing. sad

please put back the old contacts program. The present method is terrible to work with and changes are undependable. The old method was easy to use and dependable.

I used to be able to look at a contact and manage (add/change/delete) what group/s it belonged to. Please give us back this functionality. I have used Yahoo for about 20 years, but if I can no longer manage my contacts and groups, I'll have to change email providers.

It would be nice if I could arrange my contacts alphabetically by last name. Has anyone found a way to do that? if not, I may go back to my "old" basic e-mail

I think I can see the reason: they can't get people to avoid spam that lets bad people steal contact lists, so Yahoo changes add security. Yes, it's inconvenient, but I for one have seen a decrease in spam in the last year or so. If somebody smart has a nice workaround, please post a comment.

Now I can't see how many people are in each list and when I search for a contact I can't see which list they are in! Hope this gets fixed VERY SOON, because it's beyond annoying.
