I logged in to see an old email from a friend that had sent me pictures and my old emails and saved mail is gone. The friend that sent the pictures passed away several months ago so I can't request they be sent again. Is there a way to retrieve old emails? Does anyone at Yahoo respond to these comments?

It's impossible to add new contacts to a List. When adding a new contact, the contact is NOT save into that List. This has been going on for a considerable time now, several months. It all started with the change to the new mail system. Lot of gimmicks and cute things but not too useful for trying to manage simple email Lists.
Which email system would be recommended??? Gmail? Or what??

I used to be able to click on the contacts icon, open it up,and make changes. That no longer works.
The company I work with sold their domain, and so ALL EMPLOYEES I am in touch with have new emails. It is a virtual nightmare to try to change all those addresses. I heard it still works in the basic mail version. This might be happening to us with the more "fully featured email format" so Yahoo can save save storage capacity. -

After reading all the comments regarding the inadequacy of the list contact process - we can confirm the company cannot and will not hire competent technicians.

It's impossible to import or even add manually a contact already your contact list to a specific list. Let's demand a return to the original classic Yahoo which was perfect until the company decided to update it....and hired morons to do it. DISGUSTED!!!!!

I have lost many contacts and all group names. This requires me to enter the emails of all of my group members every time I send message to them. Please bring back the old system unless you want me to search for another better email provider.

I literally logged in to check some old emails for information only to find that all of my emails are now gone. Great job, Yahoo! I can't imagine my inbox was using more than a few megabytes of space.
Just one more service I'll never use again.
