URGENT: Search syntax isn't working
Your message search syntax has stopped working. If I put two words between quotation marks, the system is supposed to find only messages containing those two words together. Instead, it's finding all messages containing those two words separately - or maybe even only one of the two words, for all I know.
Please get this sorted urgently. (This is happening on up-to-date versions of both Firefox and Chrome)

How the **** do I stop bloody "fashion" advertising from coming up on my mail page? I am NOT interested in ANY "fashion" store and am even more incensed by the fact that they keep flicking all the time - I know I have to put up with some ads but these cheese me off no end

I used to be able to designate --as UNDESIRABLE- senders that were
peddling items I was not interested in!

I DID NOT disable my ad blocker. Why am I seeing ads!!!! This needs to stop. I opted to deal with the bugs you placed in the "upgraded" version on mail that you forced on us because I want to protect my computer and my time. Like it or not that takes precedence over your need to use a service that I PAY FOR to generate revenue. STOP THE ADS NOW!!!!!!

Fix Sort by Newest on top.
I keep switching to sort newest on top, but it keep changing it to sender the next time I open it.

Option to set 24 hours time
Can't believe this is a new idea !!!
How about allowing users to set their time as per the 24 hours clock system? There are 24 hours in a day after all, not 2x 12h, 3x 8h, 4x 6h or 5x 4.8h!

Font and line spacing functionality
I've looked for hours trying to get my Yahoo Mail Inbox Listing to give me a clean look. The problem is each line of text is only displaying the top 2/3 of the lettering. I've adjusted the line spacing to Large to get this amount of lettering to show the top 2/3 of letters, small spacing only shows ½ of the letters. My font sizes are a nominal 17 pt in the Settings Screen. You need to include whatever setting ae required to get the lettering displayed correctly [full character/letter displayed on each line] so a user doesn’t have to…

Many of my emails are being automatically sent to Trash
Many of my emails are being automatically sent to Trash. When I go into Filters, it says I have two filters active, but I didn't activate them and, most importantly, they are visible so I can't delete them. I pay for Yahoo Pro but am thinking of moving to another email provider because this is just too frustrating.
