Too many personal emails go directly to Trash
Wanted emails, esp. those which are back & forth conversations, persons whose email addresses are already in my Contacts, are going directly to Trash instead of my InBox. I have missed important family updates and conversations. I have to check both Trash and Spam (if one is a problem, I don't want Spam catching stuff in error either) several times a day to make sure I am not missing an important email.

Emails from saved contacts consistently going to spam. Marked as Not Spam so many times. To top it off, I have a filter set up to make emails go to my inbox that contain a key word that is in their email address. They still go to Spam. This is pretty basic but hasn't work for months/years.
I agree with the original comment - this should NOT happen - and once we say a site is NOT junk, others from the same should go to our inbox or where we say for it to go...
So frustrating to have email from my contacts list shunted to spam. This has been going on way too long. FIX THIS!
