I don't expect you to ever allow this again, but your glaring liberal bent is shown by not allowing
comments. -

The lack of an ability to respond to an editorial underlines how far into the Left's hip pocket Yahoo has become.

Why no comments baffles me...........WHY this no comment freeze has lasted so long is even more baffling!

Yea, the articles are almost pointless without honest feedback via the commenters. We are adults and can handle ourselves and what people want to post. Those that cannot-- well, the world needs ditch diggers too....

Bring back comments. Why would you not allow comments in the first place?

Hugh Massie commented
restore commenting and ONLY reject legitimate violations of policy. STOP rejecting anything just because its anti Dem because you are censoring just like the Nazis did in the '30s. Its clear and obvious you are censoring and discriminating against conservatives, Republicans and anyone even slightly criticizing Democrats IN ANY WAY.

Restore our comment section. You're being like Hitler.

Thought I would check again. Still not allowing comments, I see. Oh well, back to a newsreader that does. Enjoy your journey into oblivion, yahoo.

i am all for your reporters to have an opinion; but to block our opinion is so hypocritical. Shalise Manza Young has every right to feel the way she does and i will respect her views. i expect the same respect back. if there was a way that i could eliminate your political propaganda and left wing BS i would do it in a heart beat. Why is it she can hold people accountable for their views, political affiliation but no one is allowed to challenge what you allow her to write. seems a little one sided to me. i am sure she is an intelligent woman, but she has a bullying mentality just like Donald Trump

I think many people are under the impression that every story on Yahoo is written by Yahoo writers. It may be an idea to share with these folks the meaning of a Portal site. Each story has its own bi-line which explains the source of the original story and its author.
If people wish to comment on the story, many of the sources will allow comments on the original site the story came from. Those that want to comment using the Yahoo website simply want the Yahoo audience, which usually is much larger than the original site.
Stay the course yahoo. These people do not care about anyone except their own selfish selves. They will do everything in their power to disrupt, disprove, spread lies and propaganda, under the guise of free speech and what they consider their right.
We the people wish to read the news. We are adults, we can figure out what is b*ll and what's not.

it is great that you can share your point of view on a particular topic, but We The People can't. I would like to say that just a few years ago, we were able to have normal conversations no matter what side of the aisle we were on. Shame on you for taking that away from us. I, as a republican, would never try to change the mind of a democrat! We all deserve to be heard, whether you like our Opinion or Not! It is OK to disagree. For Christ's sake, I am trying to teach my son not to be a right fighter, but it is extremely hard when our government ab
nd the media can't seem to figure it out for themselves. We can't be united if we can't safely express our own opinions. PLEASE LET EVERYONE SPEAK ! IT REALLY IS OK TO BE DIFFERENT! -

Thanks Yahoo for eliminating comments. This comment platform is here for your readers to express their opinions and ideas, yet many still want that big ego soothing audience, dangling from every story. Keep up the good work.

it's really frustrating and off -putting if we can't comment. i just hurry away and ignore your articles if i can't say what i need to say. I'ts really mean to evoke a response from readers BUT NOT ALLOW US TO EXPRESS IT!!! plus it looks like you just want to preach at us as we MUST pas the news page en route to our emails. You have a CAPTIVE AUDIENCE and it feels like it. THAT is so dang scammy and control freakish! stop pushing your stuff in our face but not allowing us to comment!

Bring back the commenting. If some of your readers don't like it they don't have to read the comments. Give your users what they want before we ditch you for someone else.

Yahoo - " To improve customer engagement on our site we are disabling engagement between customers." lol
One too many thin-skinned wokies get their feelings hurt when someone stated a fact about their opinion article I take it?

Yahoo comments were entertainment gold, loved them. For the most part silly stuff. Reading comments you had to wonder how this country survived up to now.

You can't put an article up about how beautiful Tess Holliday, a clearly morbidly obese woman, looks in her bikini without having commenters be the voice of reason. I let most of this stuff slide but that's a dangerous and unhealthy stance to take! I hope you cover her pending heart attack as well.

If I can't comment on your articles....then I'm not about to read and value your opinion as that is all they seem to be, opinion not fact.

Since 80% of your articles are opinion based, including articles ripped straight from the opinion pages of liberal newspapers, the fact the you block comment for a "safe" enviroment is downright laughable. Your constant pandering to the cancer that is the left is sickening. Just because those woke babies can't stand to hear a view that differs from thier own doesn't mean it does not deserve to be heard. reinstate comments or lose clicks, easy as that.
