Please allow people to say the truth and stop blocking those you disagree with.

Why protect arrogant fools? They become arrogant fools because you protect them. You are enabling extremely offensive behavior. Seriously, you aren't doing anyone any favors.

It isn't a coincidence that I am automatically signed out if I go to specific news topics beyond today's news or I cannot comment on responses to my comments from less than 24 hours...because I get signed out... and unable to sign in... however, I can still click on my email while still on the specific news feed and automatically go to my email... without having to sign in. Yeah, it's that blatant, and no, there is nothing wrong with my cookies. Not to mention, you flagged one of my comments for using the term Yiddish, a language... and yet, it was in one of my responses to someone using a sexist slur, and I called out their inappropriate comment that does violate your community standards..., and they were smart enough to get it through your algorithm... by typing it out ShesASlut!

Stick to the basic moderation for community standards.

Two days ago I made comments critical of Ukraine. Nothing derogatory. The same type criticism I would make toward my one government. I got notice today that three such comments were rejected. So now Yahoo has been put on a short leash when it comes to Ukraine.

Why are you rejecting my comments when I am only repeating what the person I am responding to says.

Seems like everyone hating your braindead sensitive neurotic censorship tactics propagated by emotionally weak and mentally ill employees, is actually the issue here. You don't like hearing that, it that's actually the issue.

Freedom of speech is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction. The right to freedom of expression has been recognised as a human right in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international human rights law by the United Nations. Many countries have constitutional law that protects free speech. Terms like free speech, freedom of speech, and freedom of expression are used interchangeably in political discourse. However, in a legal sense, the freedom of expression includes any activity of seeking, receiving, and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used

You allow the left to post obscene and derogatory comment but when someone on the right responds, you censor it. your bias is showing big time.

Get rid of racist comments that are everywhere. Also, when I say I don't like an ad about 100 times- quit showing me the same ad repeatedly

Why did ATT close access to the comments section of their published articles.? Are we saying the wrong thing?

Yahoo has gone off the deep end. I said one word "muted" and it was rejected.

Your automation that blocks key words is terrible. I know how to go around it with language. But if I am quoting the actual article, why is my comment blocked but the article can still be posted?
-
Stephen Herrick commented
My comment was blocked by using the term "circle jerk" it appears 7 times in the actual article. So I don't get to use a term one a reported used frequently. Very sad

What constitutes as a flagged comment is a disgrace. Tear off the proverbial band-aid and let comments post.
People need to see a variety of opinions, and those they find "objectional" they can feel free to just click past. This new (at least to me) bubble-wrapped environment is creating an equally plastic environment, where all that exists is sanitized.
Let people CHOOSE what they want to read, instead of having sani-bots choose for them. What a concept.

I wrote a reply to a comment on a Yahoo article concerning scholarships that simply said you can browse scholarships by ethnicity on the internet because someone argued there were no scholarships for students who are white so there shouldn't be any scholarships for POC students. The comment which contained nothing remotely offensive or in violation of Yahoo guidelines was immediately rejected when posted, and also on appeal. It shouldn't be that hard to provide a proper program to screen comments for violations but somehow you've managed to completely fail at it.

by not being so biased in your censorship. If I write something negative about our braindead president, it should not be censored. His being an obvious dunce is offensive, but me commenting on it is not..except to lefties who don't tolerate ideas that don't align with their Marxist orientation. I don't really care about yahoo, and effectively stumbled onto it when clicking on a link embedded somewhere. Otherwise, I could gave a **** about it, or your ludicrous censorshit.
