Always include city and state (or nation) in your stories.
Use city and state, not just "county" or "township". If you don't include a real location, I just stop reading the stories.

I find it very annoying that the location of where the story is based from is not posted at the top next to the date. Why should I read articles from other countries that I am not interested in? At least when I see the country I can quickly discard the article. It violates the basic, who, what, where and when in writing an article.
