It takes at least three times as many clicks to do what one click would do in the older version. That's time consuming and annoying. But, in order to switch between multiple accounts, you reroute us to your landing page (Yahoo Home Page), which I have NEVER used in the decades I've used yahoo email? Before, switching between accounts took 2 clicks! As others have commented, there are just too many hoops to jump through to do tasks that were much simpler before.

I want old email page back. don't like the new yahoo at all, when I went back to old one, it still isn't the old one and can't find any info like before. settings does not give me the choice I need. I want to change setting so next message comes up when I delete one. It won't and setting won't give me a place to do so.

I agree!! This new email is a pain in the butt and it doesn't work properly. I don't want ads but I would rather have ads than use a system that doesn't work properly.

Now I can't see all of my e-mails on one page and just scroll down, why? I can't check something and just mark it as 'unread' to read it later, why? I can't mark anything with a 'star' if it's important and I want to refer back to it later, why? Are you just making the features worse and harder to use so I'll change to a different e-mail service for some particular reason? Why are you making everything more difficult to use? What a pain! And the ads, popping up in my face... grrr - annoying! Put them back on the sides! If I want to click on an ad that I like, I will! I don't need it to block my page - that's just wasting my time and bugging me!

After many years of being very satisfied with the current Yahoo mail format Yahoo is trying to pressure users into changing to a new format, thinking they will give in to the constantly annoying pop-up to get them to change. I do not have an ad blocker and cannot determine why I am being told ads are blocked. I have tried to solve the problem, but to no avail. I keep getting the pop-up to unblock ads again and again. I have to keep returning to basic format almost with every message I try to open. This is aggrevating and shows a lack of respect for those who are content with the current format. Ask ONCE, be respectful and give users the chance to accept or decline the offer. You are going to loose people with this overbearing insistance to change. Let those who want to change to the new format do so, and those who prefer the current format continue as is. Leave well enough alone, don't break what ain't broke!. Listen to your users before you lose them. I would would have gladly recommended Yahoo mail in the past, but the way they are handling promoting the new format leads to me tell oithers to stay away, at least until users can use the format they desire without pressure to change to something they do not want. Since I have not been succesfful in unblocking ads I would hope that returning to the basic format ONCE would have been notice enough to stop the annoying pop-up to change.
