$5/month? which is $60/year. A 70% increase???
ARE YOU SERIOUS???
So the approximately $34.99 a year I've been paying isn't enough. Now you want $60/year. My goodness. So you're trying to run away so many customers until you just have to say, "We're done. we're stopping email altogether." You guys are enraging.

My time might be worth paying this money for a better experience with an email service, but not with yahoo if nothing improves. LISTEN to feedback on this forum and earn the increase. I plan not to upgrade/quit as soon as I move my account logins to another email provider.

I agree. I started Yahoo! email at $19.99/year and right now I'm paying $34.99/year. I'll be paying the equivalent of $60.00/year beginning next month--or TRIPLE the cost initially. I guess when Yahoo! has been sold twice (Verizon and now to private equity firm Apollo) prices get jacked up. Apollo should be bending over backwards for its customers or they will risk MASS DEFECTIONS. They should be listening to what customers want with their email (e.g. features), security (e.g. no breaches of personal information), and cost (what's with the 71.5% increase?).

Yes, I will be canceling my two paid subscriptions after the 1st of the year. $19.99 per year per mailbox was expensive enough, then $3/month became a bigger burden. Now $5 per month? Wow, that's expensive compared to the alternatives.
