While I pay for SPAM Filtering, there is still a lot that gets through. Nearly all of the incoming emails have the "sender" name in BOLD type. Nearly all of the SPAM emails have three arrows, stars or some other symbol at the beginning of the "sender" name and the same symbols at the end of the name. I've been involved with email since around 1991. I have NEVER seen a legitimate email ID that contains so many symbols. It seems like AI would be perfect to resolve this. Look at what people are putting in their SPAM folder. Teach AI what spam is and then send them to the spam folder so I don't have to. I regularly review the SPAM folder before deletions because sometimes Yahoo sends valid emails there. Another opportunity for AI learning: If I mark it as "Not SPAM" then AI should catch on pretty quickly.
AI is everywhere. Yahoo needs to get on the bandwagon to enhance the user experience.
