Currently, if I schedule an appt and select a date it defaults to the current time. If I'm scheduling when it is 10PM, I don't usually want the appt to be at 10PM. Leave the hour of the appt blank until filled in or assume 12PM as the time as that is mid day. Also, when I change the start time of an appt, you should change the end time as well. So if I am presented with a 10PM appt time that lasts until 11PM and then I change the time to 11AM, the end time should automatically change to 12PM (1 hour later than the start) instead of staying at 11PM. Using Yahoo Calendar to schedule appts is a PITA and I usually end up using my iphone.
