Asinine having to get a "verification" code EVERY **** TIME I have to "sign in" to my Yahoo account.
Stop making us have to get a verification code EVERY **** TIME I have to sign in to my Yahoo account. You're just making things more complicated and clogging up the system with your nonsense.

If I want to see less from certain publishers, I have to sign in every time and that's a lot of work. Can't you just listen to the settings I have on yahoo dashboard without having to sign in constantly? Either keep me signed in or keep HuffPost from clogging up my main news page. I('m not interested in their content at all! Ever!

I am having the same difficulty. (I suspect that Yahoo Mail is attempting to deal with a breach).
I am trying to change my password, as my current password does not work. But instead, I need to get a code on a different device in order to log in and access my mail.
Plus, I now notice below that I am required to give my personal information over to something called "User Voice" in order to publish this post. Solution: KISS: Keep It Simple, Stupid. -

It is stupid to create hassles to access one's email. Twice today after accurately entering verification code it was deemed invalid. Bloody frustrating.

I'm now having the same issue with verification. The last 6 times I tried checking my email. I am told this is first time logging from this device. NOT. Been logging in from chrome on same laptop for over a year now. Even my profile log in history shows this. Yet have had to do code in order to access my email. Please note: I have had and used this yahoo account since the time when yahoo was only a text based web portal. Yea, several decades ago. But am at the point of thinking of cancelling my account. Have enough aggravation from life. Looking to eliminate some of these aggravations.

And asking for me to change my password every time?? Jesus I have changed my password twice, thinking this was some sort of mistake but no, you actually harrass people to change it everytime. Sure we can skip it, but it's yet another window in the 8 flipping windows you require us to pass through to check our bloody e-mail. Get it together or watch us leave. Seriously.
