To change the sending name in Yahoo Mail, please follow these instructions:

Please note: Some third-party apps have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the Yahoo Mail setting. If the app you're using attaches a different name than the one saved in your Yahoo Mail settings, contact the manufacturer of the app for assistance.

    I was making a business email and wrote my first/last name when it asked. now my boss flips out because every single email is saying its sent by ME instead of the company name.

    I tried changing my nickname, i changed it in settings, more settings, mailboxes etc. it all says the company name, however, customers are receiving emails from my name. it is so aggravating I might just change the company email, to make it easier on myself.

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME MAKE THIS A PERMANENT CHANGE?

    I cant change my password. I received 6 digit number code instead 8 digit letter code. In fact my password is compromised. Letters from UK shown abuse with my email address with sent fake different CV than mine

    Why is it so difficult to change my password. Somebody is trying to sign in on my account and I cannot find the password reset. I signed into my security page and cannot find the password change button. Very frustrating.

    I'm trying to change my password, but following the HELP instructions doesn't seem to work. What I should see and what I see isn't the same. "Change Password" isn't to be found on that page I'm led to while following your instructions.

    Yes, Really Strange. Followed 'Student Forever' to click on 'Manage Account Key' to turn it off on the Security page. The Change Password option then shows up. After reactivating the 2 Stage Verification process, the Change Password option then remains on show on the Security page! Yahoo Help page needs to add this extra step for user who hasn't changed their p/w since the new layout.

    KINDLY HELP.WHEN I SEND EMAIL IT APPEARS AS RECRUITMENT TEAM NOT MY EMAIL ADDRESS. KINDLY ASSIST. AND PEOPLE ARE IGNORING MY EMAILS THINKING IT IS NOT FROM ME.
