forgot my password variation, couldn't get into my account, thought id lost if forever. Wasn't accepting past password logins, and when it said it would send a recovery email to another email account IT ******* DIDN'T!!! I tried this, god, like 20 ******* times? Wasn't going. And this was a google email address not some weird email with strange protocols. I tried contacting customer support and finding out you would charge me for that ******* ******** to even remotely having a chance of getting it resolved.
My life is dependent on me reliably getting access to information that is sent to me through email addresses. You might be able to understand why I was a little ******* ticked off by this frankly incompetent recovery process and no access to support. Sure it works most of the time, but when it doesn't and there are no other options its a ******* problem.
Now im having an issue where I cannot find a way to change my recovery email address because I DO NOT want that **** happening again. Frankly after this, im going to be changing all my email requirements elsewhere, forever. I should have done it a few years back when you thought it was acceptable as a company to allow employees to read emails and to give user data to other companies for a profit, which is despicable immoral behavior.
Give people access to support. Its not an outlandish request.
