Let Me Delete My Account Today!!!
I created a free email account for an employee this morning who is no longer with me as of noon today. i tried multiple times to delete it but got a message saying "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later." I have tried for over two hours. I had NO subscriptions! Out of desperation, I signed up for a Yahoo Plus Secure FREE? 30 Day trial to get access to premium customer service, and oxymoron with Yahoo. I called and got tech support who was absolutely no help, but they transferred me to billing and said they could close the account. Billing proceeded to inform me I could not cancel it for 90 days because I added the FREE Yahoo Plus trial AFTER trying to cancel multiple times with NO subscriptions!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND CRIMINAL!!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor but none were available and was told one would call me back at some point. I intend to share my experience and this TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM YAHOO ACROSS ALL OF MY SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS WITH THOUSANDS OF FOLLOWERS! What absolute **** and sorry excuse for a company.
