When will the "Generate App Password" feature be fixed?

All of a sudden the App(lication) password feature stopped working. What are your plans to get it working again ?

    I need this password generator like now. When will y be available or do I need to contact my attorney? I need an answer by tonight Oct 26, 2023 before 730om CST and it's not 724pm.Better get to it.

    Could you al least put a note on this feature link saying it doesn't work and hopefully you're working on it...so we don't have to go through the next steps to see it still not working!!

    You need to notify your yahoo members when the Generate App Password will be fixed. My ability to obtain my email using Outlook is not possible without your app password generator working. You need to fix this or provide an alternative way to obtain my yahoo email using Outlook.

    Broken since October 2022. They're not going to fix it.

    Generate App Password is not working in yahoo but the same feature enabled in all other mail services for free in hotmail and gmail etc... fix this asap

    Generate app password doesn't work. I cannot add my Yahoo email to Outlook, this is unbelievable.
    You guys don't care about us. I start to move all my emails to the alternative email account. Look like we need to stop using the Yahoo email service.

    30 Years I been with Yahoo... I have 2 active email accounts, both I manage with Evolution on my Linux desktop. I do recall I had to generate "app passwords" for those, and they work still to this day without issue.
    Now I made a new account for my new business name, its a good way to avoid my sent messages going to peoples junk mail. If I can NOT manage it from Evolution like the others then I will turn around the 30 years into the next 30 to expose Yahoo as a bad actor against digital freedom
