    I don't know if it's a "fix" as much as an "allow"?? Because it works for me for 2 old accounts, but not on one i created within the last year. I use it for BB Hub+ Inbox.

    Also, YAHOO...notice how the app generator is FIRST on items to fix?? I would happily pay a fee for an app pw, if that's what's holding this up. And I suspect IF IT WERE REASONABLE ($5 or less), many people would too. Imagine that. $5 x 100 million customers = half a BILLION dollars!! If you are honest and reasonable with people, honest and reasonable people will support you. After all...we have for decades, some of us. ;) We don't want Yahoo to disappear. <3

    Please fix this.. it is ridiculous that I have not been able to generate an app password to use smtp despite logging into the account from the same IP for days on end

    This is absolutely ridiculous.

    This kind of bullsh*t is what will push me off Yahoo completely to get a real email account with a company who gives a ****. I'll even pay them for it. Just not Yahoo because they can't seem to be bothered with fixing their problem and / or even admitting the problem exists in the first place.
