    I get a "Sorry, this feature is not available right now" when attempting to generate app password. Is yahoo no longer available for Outlook?

    Is yahoo seriously not going to allow you to generate a password and connect with outlook (as this has worked forever).. No response or eta? what is going on with this

    it is 2 weeks and yahoo team couldn't fix the problem of app password generator .... is Yahoo going to shutdown?

    I was about to pay for support to get answers but see the Eric W below indicated Support did not help. I'm switching to gmail so I may get back to outlook. Yahoo's lack of resolution to this issue is shocking.

    Please fix it. It is needed for Microsoft Outlook.

    I believe this has been out of action since May! How can it not be fixed in that time?

    I've just moved phones and have no way of getting Yahoo emails unless I want to sift through countless adverts in the Yahoo app.

    Clearly Yahoo have no intention of fixing this. Especially when you consider the error message returned says "FEATURE_NOT_AVAILABLE".

    After 18 years of using Yahoo, today is the day I move to Google mail.

    Hi.I have recently set up Yahoo account.I cannot generate an app password and cant use Yahoo as intended.So its currently useless.There is no support to investigate and fix your system issue unless you pay a monthly charge for support on a system that doesnt work.

    I could not use APP password generator either. Therefore I could not use outook to check yahoo email. When this issue could be fixed? Can Yahoo Company try to fix this problem ASAP?

    My job depends on the ability to generate app passwords so I can use those apps at work. I talked to an agent who tried but could not give me any information on when my account would be updated or who to contact to find out. All he could do was give me canned, general purpose non-answers provided by upper management. I suspect there is no update scheduled. That is especially galling since I had to sign up for Yahoo plus just to find that out. Yahoo needs to take care of the "update" (whatever that is) and provide customers with ways to get real answers to questions like mine ASAP!

    When will this be fixed? Can't use outlook to access my email? This has worked for years. Why is there no update on this??

    This is ridiculous!! The app password needs fixed. Its an on going problem and you are just disregarding it and not addressing the issue.

    think its time to boycott yahoo. simple app generator that should be fixed however it appears yahoo is not responsive to customer needs.

    "Not available at this time" is NOT ACCEPTABLE -- FIX THIS!!
