    I have the same issue and my yahoo email is used for emailing invoices! This needs to be fixed, it is costing me money!!

    Does Yahoo read any of these comments, or is this simply a platform to publicly vent frustration? If that all it is then it's probably pointless me adding to the list of people who can't get their outlook to work either...?

    Third party password app generator doesn't work. It says at present not available. Please fix immediately. It's urgent.

    This system simply needs to work.
    We have all tolerated the Yahoo account breaches over the years and accept the need for tighter security measures; and I can even understand that this might (?) be a feature that is unavailable on free accounts; however, it is not acceptable for this system to be not operational. Particularly so when I have been paying for Mail Pro for over 10 years.
    Yahoo customer service: 2/10 - must do better!

    Please fix this issue ASAP or revert to not needing an app password to access my Yahoo Mail account via Outlook. My 2 step verification during login should be enough security.

    I agree this issue needs to be fixed asap I have been using the combo of Yahoo and Outlook for years not its broken and I pay for the email service I expect it to work. Please let us know what is going on thank you

    This issue arrived yesterday. What is bizarre is that my ipad and android phone can both still use outlook to sign in yet my macbook cannot. Just what on earth is going on with password generator?

    Can't generate app password so can't log onto outlook anymore.

    Yahoo has been good t me all these years ... however, to disable a feature without having an alternative available is just dumb right now. Yahoo! be encouraged an dow something about this
