    this is ridiculous! If this doesn't get resolved, I'm deleting my yahoo accounts and switching to gmail.

    I have no way to obtain my email using Outlook on my PC until you fix the app password generator. When will this be fixed? bwest96@verizon.net

    Same problem. How long will it take for Yahoo to solve it? This is a critical issue that must be resolved on the spot!
    As of now Yahoo Mail cannot be accessed. by 3rd party apps including IMAP/SMTP email clients.

    Yes. Can't use email. Not on phone, not on PC. Can't see old generated passwords... Not planning to download each app for each email. I want to use outlook. If it is not fixed, leaving all yahoo services. not even gone look at yahoo news or anything with yahoo. because this looks like a way to force users to use yahoo apps

    Can't add my Yahoo mail account to Outlook without it - or is that by design that Yahoo doesn't want me to use Outlook to read Yahoo mail?

    This has been working recently. I set up a new laptop in May 2023 and that included connecting Outlook to Yahoo. Now a couple of months later it is broken.

    Your only choice is to leave Yahoo.
    I guess this is the corporate way of reducing costs by reducing customers.
    Very strange concept.

    I need to generate an app password to add my Yahoo mail account to Outlook app, but the app password generator is not working. This was reported on October 2022 and still is not working!!!

    The yahoo email can't be used on outlook without the App password.. when is it going to be fixed

    9 months and still not fixed. I have a new laptop, and cannot set up my yahoo email on Outlook because of this simple issue. PLEASE FIX IT!!
    Like many others, this will force me to stop using Yahoo email if you can't fix it.
