2-step verification lack of options

It seems that many people having same problem with changing phone number in 2-step verification. Yahoo Member Center does not respond them.

    My wife and i use our single yahoo email address to receive emails for our daughter's like school info. By you forcing us to choose 1 number for 2 step authorization we cannot do that. This is wrong.

    Login any Yahoo apps (Yahoo Finance, Yahoo News, Yahoo Weather, etc...). Open Yahoo profile from Yahoo Mail. Select Account Security.
    - For device notification: click Manage Device Notification. Select device. (optional: disable old device)
    - For Recovery eMail/Recovery Phone Numbers: Add new eMail/Phone.
