Thank you for providing a great service to us investors.

I have a suggestion that might make our lives a bit easier and make your platform be more accurate.

There's an issue with handling stock splits and dividends. I understand that Yahoo Finance does not automatically update for stock splits and that we have to manually update transactions to reflect this change. However, this automatically updates the amount of dividends that were previously recorded.

For example, I had 100 stocks of a company and received 2 divided payouts in last 2 years. Now this company completed 3:1 stock split and I have updated the previous transaction to reflect this change. However, now on the dividend tab, it shows that I received 3 times more dividends.

Suggestion you change this to either:
1) Do not update previous dividend records when we change old transactions for stock splits. What was paid in the past was paid, no reason to update that number.

2) Allow manual control over dividend transactions. Allow users to manually add or update dividend transactions.

Option 2 would probably be easier for you and users. It's not accurate at the moment anyway, because I have some stocks that pay out dividends, which are not recorded in Yahoo finance. For example ALV.DE
