When plotting stock prices via candle in the advanced chart window, and when looking at the weekly or monthly view, the data for the current day is always presented as an extra candle rather than as part of the existing candle for the week or month. For example, there are two candles for August 2025, one corresponding to the stock price change as of August 1-12 and one for August 13 (today) alone. The same thing happens for the weekly candles.

Additionally, the yahoo finance advanced chart feature occasionally presents the options to change between different chart types via a "tools"->"mountain, candle.. etc." drop down. This drop down menu isn't "sticky", in that you cannot actually make a selection of different chart types because the menu keeps disappearing
