I've been using your portfolio services for a long time now. I enjoy it despite the impossibility for me to get an accurate measurement of my assets.
I live in Japan and have been here for over a decade now. So, I use Yahoo! portfolios in yen even though I own stocks in different currencies. When I purchase stocks on the US markets, either NASDAQ or ADR, I get the exchange rate at transaction date.
In my case, the US dollar transactions are made with US dollars I obtained in the past. The overall exchange rate for my portfolio is ¥108.4 to the dollar. Very far from the current rate.
I don't think it should be mandatory to input the conversion rate all the time, the default could be the current rate like it is set for transaction prices. But it would be amazing to allow for users adjustments when diffferent currencies are used.
Would it be possible to add a field for the exchange rate?
