Since the recent Yahoo Finance update in early November 2026, my Portfolio Total Value continues to fluctuate based on after-hours trading prices even after the regular US stock market closes at 4:00 PM ET.

This happens on both the desktop website and the mobile app.

Previously, I could rely on the Portfolio Total Value after the market close as my official end-of-day portfolio valuation. Now, I can no longer obtain a stable daily closing value, making it difficult to track and reconcile my portfolio’s daily performance.

Please restore the previous behavior or introduce a toggle allowing users to choose between:

1. Regular-session closing prices (4:00 PM ET)
2. Extended-hours market prices

Extended-hours pricing is useful for monitoring markets, but it should not replace the official daily closing valuation without giving users a choice.
