    Dear Yahoo Support,

    I am writing as a loyal Yahoo Mail user since June of 1997, and I am deeply disheartened by the recent reduction in the mailbox storage limit. After decades of reliable use and trust in your platform, I was surprised and frustrated to suddenly find my account flagged as over quota—despite previously operating well within the limits that had been in place for years.

    To my knowledge, I have not added anywhere near 12 GB of new data in the short window between this change and the notice I received. It appears that Yahoo has reduced storage capacity from 1TB to 20 GB without adequate prior warning or transparent communication. This abrupt shift feels like a significant disservice to those of us who have remained loyal to the service for decades. I was always loyal to you.

    Had I known this change was coming, I could have made informed choices about managing my data or transitioning to another provider. Instead, I now face unexpected disruption, forced clean-up, or pressure to upgrade to a paid tier, all without notice or consideration for my longstanding support of the Yahoo platform. This is a clear bait and switch.

    I sincerely urge you to reconsider how these changes are being handled. Longtime users deserve clear communication, options, and above all, respect for our history with your company. Please advise whether any accommodations will be made for longtime users who are suddenly over quota through no direct fault of their own.

    Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to continue using Yahoo Mail, but I need to feel that the trust I placed in your service for nearly three decades is mutual.
