PLEEEZE can someone deal with this? And can other group admins please vote to move this up -- it's thirteen HUNDRED points down below.

The problem is now over 3 months old.

I really need to get our 2018 events uploaded to the Events Calendar -- not possible.
There is no longer an "New event" button visible. (It looks like it is hiding just below the "Events" button).

I am the owner/moderator of the group I founded, so access privileges are not at issue.

Double-clicking on a calendar date used to bring up the title field for each event: this no longer works. It was also the fastest way to reach the input fields needed to add event information.

Clicking on the time in the page for a given date also used to bring up the window for adding event information. This no longer works.

So, in effect, the Yahoo Events Calendar is not functioning at all as it used to in earlier 2017. The Events Calendar is non-functional. Can someone please make this a priority fix?

The Events Calendar is a valuable (often essential) tool for Yahoo Groups.

    Same problem here.

We actually have had heated arguments over the confusion the de-formatting causes.
Example: In a list of who is to do what, when, formatting is essential. At the very least, we need to be able to control the "return" in order to create line breaks.

    It's the difference between:

    Bill - setup
    Rachel - sales table
    Ernie - pricing
    Alma - takedown

    Which comes out as
Bill - setup Rachel - sales table Ernie - pricing Alma - takedown

    PLEEEEEZE save the formatting??

We can always fudge around fonts by using ***asterisks*** and UPPER CASE, but losing the line breaks makes mush of any reminder that includes a list, or several different types of information.

Thanks for looking into this (again).

Same problem here! Our events calendar includes individual, one-shot events. It also includes a calendar of significant event dates in the history of science and astronautics, which are set to repeat annually. Often, as new data come to light, these events NEED TO BE EDITED.

I can only edit/delete individual, one-shot events. Every time I try to edit or delete an old, inaccurate annual event I get , "OOPS! Sorry something has gone wrong. Edit permissions are not available."

I am the owner / moderator. This problem has existed for at least 6 months, probably longer. It's rather embarassing to have reminders going out to our members celebrating the birthdays of significant people who are no longer alive! I'm the laughing stock some of our members like to pick on.

It seems that once I set an event to repeat regularly, it becomes set in stone and I am completely locked out of it. Pleeeeeeeeeeease fix this.

PLEEEEEZE assume that the time posted by the owners/moderators is the **local** time for that date in that location. The default time MUST be the time as set by the owners/moderators.

At present, we are not getting GMT, we are not getting PDT. The confusion sown by Yahoo's "adjustments" of our Event calendar content (the TIME) is ***not*** helpful.

Especially problematic, the current time "adjustments" do no show up anywhere until the reminders have been issued. There is no way for an owner/moderator to verify what members will see as the posted time, because the "correct" (current, local) time still shows in the Event calendar time/date fields on the calendar itself.

Again, we know when our events will take place. Please stop "adjusting" the times arbitrarily without our knowledge or intent. If you must, just give us control of the time zone button.
