Under review for a month? Actually it's been much longer but Yahoo! finds it's much easier to reset the counters than to fix the problems.
As of today (2/21/15), the ever increasing complaints about the "local" weather and news showing as Richardson, Texas have been "under review" for 26 days. Your web page design staff should be embarrassed and then replaced for gross incompetence.
Yahoo! has found how to deal with the thousands of complaints about the "New" Yahoo!. They reset the counter on the thousands of complaints back to zero and started over. That's so much easier to make it look better than to actually fix all the complaints.
I don't live in Richardson Texas, I don't know exactly where Richardson Texas is, I don't care where Richardson Texas is, I don't want the weather in Richardson Texas and I don't want the local news for Richardson Texas. I don't want anything to do with Richardson Texas. Why do you persist is forcing Richardson Texas on us?
Having an ad show at the top of my Inbox each time I log on was the final straw. I have now made msn.com my default homepage and am now using the "Mail" icon in the doc on my Mac to read my mail. Even if I had stayed with Yahoo, I vowed never to connect to any company that advertised on their homepage. I despise the whole "New My Yahoo!" experience.
We appreciate the feedback we’ve receive thus far with regards to the new My Yahoo layout and features.
We’re continually developing new product concepts to bring great experiences to our users. We’d love to hear more feedback about the design changes you’re seeing. Feel free to continue posting here with any additional feedback.
Yahoo says, " We’d love to hear more feedback about the design changes you’re seeing." This is the 1089th comment since September 29, 2013 - all negative. Obviously Yahoo isn't listening or caring. For the record, there is nothing I like better about the "new" My Yahoo! homepage.
It is my observation that it is almost universal that your new homepage is not wanted by anyone. Admit that you made a mistake and let us all go back to what we liked. This is not progress but, apparently, change for the sake of change. This is absolutely not a "great experience". There is nothing that I like more about the new homepage than I liked about the old version. Either you don't read the thousands of negative comments or you just don't care about your customers - which is it?
