In your article about film locations in Co Durham you said that in Get Carter the end was filmed in a mining village called Blackhall on the east coast of Durham, as I'm from a town called Peterlee a few miles away and have lived in Blackhall I have never heard of it being filmed there but in another mining village just along the coast which you have called Dowden however there is no such place it is called Horden and I have also lived there for many years where the ITV legend Vera was filmed on some episodes also some of the show Gorge Gently was filmed there, Vera also filmed in many Co Durham town an villages.
