old news
Almost all the news in "Canada Slideshows" is at least 2-3 weeks old. That's not news, that's LAZY and ****** reporting. If it's not new news then it's not news! This site has turned into simply junk reporting!

Embedding adverts in your news headlines is unethical.
They're nearly identical looking and obviously designed to mislead and misrepresent. It's disgusting and I would hope that Yahoo raises their standards.

Anythig more that 2 weeks old is not considered "news".
Update to new "news" delete old "news". This site is so far behind in it's reporting that it's like reading 3 week old print news papers!

Slipping ads in with news items
Stop slipping ads in with the news items. It is sleazy and above Yahoo standards I believe. Usually not noticed until you've clicked on the item and on the ad page.

Stop throwing infomercials into the mix when scanning headlines.
You need to cease and desist with throwing these ads in with the news headlines. I will go to another news provider if you don't stop this horrible practice. News is news. Stop trying to confuse people by throwing in the ads. I thought I was going to read a story about diabetes and how a cure was close, and it turned out to be a stupid ad. Ads do not belong amongst the news headlines. This is about as pathetic as it gets

Way too much stuff on the new home page, overload, bands covering pictures, advertisements, am no longer interested in obtaining news
Give a headline with a photo and leave it at that, No wonder you people can no longer focus for more than a few seconds at a time on one item. Make things clearer and more concise.

I went to the police after being accosted by drug dealers in the early evening hours on a busy public street. I even had witnesses. The Police told me to go get psychotherapy. My reaction...they were narks.

Your home page has more than 150 items of all kinds of news lumped together. It makes the page too long to browse or read.
I think the material should be classified by issues or major subjects, e.g., health, sports, politics, religion, recipes, philosophy, weather, etc., etc.
