  2. Get rid of the flashing ads for computer problems

    I know that ads are necessary, but those flashing ads about my computer crashing or my drivers being out of date are so distracting that I just close the page when I get one. And they are obviously fake and misleading, casting a shadow on Yahoo as a whole.

  8. I don't like the ugly ads about toenail fungus infection. It's VERY off-putting!

    The offensive health ads about wrinkles and fungus toes is upsetting my tummy when I come to read the news on Yahoo homepage. I wish they could be removed one of these days.

  11. I would like the option of looking at gross ads such as rotten toes, etc... Why don't I have that option?

    Here's an idea! Let me decide if I want to look at rotten toe ads or not. Nothing makes me jump off the page quicker than shoving that in my view.

    In this article you missed one of the biggest terror attacks by United States.
    Iran Air Flight 655.
    Iran Air Flight 655 was an Iran Air civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai that was shot down by the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes on 3 July 1988.
    The attack took place in Iranian airspace, over Iran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf, and on the flight's usual flight path. The aircraft, an Airbus A300 B2-203, was destroyed by SM-2MR surface-to-air missiles fired from the Vincennes.
    All 290 on board, including 66 children and 16 crew, died.[1]…

  13. I live in the East, so why do I still have news from all regions, when I pick the Atlantic category? Maybe you could add Saint John NB?:-)

    Sorry if you get this twice! My phone froze the 1st time I tried.
    Could you either eliminate all the other news regions, when you pick a "general" region like the Atlantic, or allow for customization of the Web page, so that I could take out all areas but mine? If I want all news, I can pick that if I need to, but I want the ability to customize my Rogers Yahoo! web page with as close to my Local news as possible. If you just added Saint John New Brunswick, then I'm sure that would be a big…

  15. Get rid of Key-board shortcuts for your News-Videos.

    Nothing is more annoying than trying to type out a thoughtful comment only to have the page refresh your comment to non-existance just because you pressed "Shift+whatever". If I want to see the aweful video, I can click the play button.. Quit inhibiting my typing by the most non-intuitive and disruptive system I have ever seen in place.
